Cucumber is a great source of hydration and perfect to include in the summer months. It helps aid in weight loss as it is also low in calories and in sugar. Cucumbers are perfect to have in salads, juices and even smoothies.
Whether on its own, or as a side to a meal – it is the perfect green vegetable to have. The best part is, they are very inexpensive in Pakistan. Unlike other vegetables, it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. Moreover, you can have access to cucumbers in any province! Makes you wonder why you don’t consume more cucumbers, doesn’t it?
Today Team Fuchsia is going to share its favourite cucumber salad recipe created by our very own Sujata Din. With the perfect blend of fruits and vegetables, this salad is sure to become a fast favourite amongst you and your friends! You won’t have enough of it! Trust us. We know.

Cucumber & Apple Salad
Ingredients:
- 2 cups diced cucumber
- ½ apple diced
- 2 tbsp finely chopped mint leaves
- juice from ½ lemon
- sea salt and black pepper to taste
Mix It All Up!
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and serve chilled. Serves 2-3.
