Ms. Marvel gets Fawad Khan but where does that leave us? Disney+ just roped in our national treasure!
Fawad Khan, the nation’s heart throb who has already given us four international projects including Khoobsurat, which was his debut Bollywood film with Sonam Kapoor. He also stared in Kapoor and Sons and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Back in Pakistan he has given us some iconic hits including Humsafar staring Mahira Khan and Zindagi Gulzar Hai in which he co-starred with Sanam Saeed. Now he is all set to appear in Disney+ new show, Ms Marvel and we are head over heels in love!
Ms. Marvel which is set to release in late 2021 is the story about Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani), a Pakistani-American teen based in New Jersey. She will be the first onscreen Muslim hero of Marvel Studios. The recipient of two Academy Awards, Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy will be one of the directors along with Meera Menon, Adil El Arbi, and Bilall Fallah. In addition to this, Alyy Khan will be making an appearance along Fawad Khan in episode one according to IMBD.
Fawad Khan will be playing the character of Hassan and the film locations are set to be California and Los Angeles, USA. Though, the actor himself hasn’t commented on this yet but we are eager to see what’s in store for us!
