A heartwarming & beautiful performance as Mahpara hugs Salar when he gets her out of the jail. We could all feel her relief on seeing him there.
2. Sheheryar Munawar as Aslam in Pehli Si Mohabbat
What a beautiful portrayal of the pain & transformation in the mature yet still dukhi Aslam. BTW we are loving this look with glasses.
3. Usman Mukhtar As Aswad in HKKST
His apt use of body language in addition to the facial expressions is praiseworthy as we could feel the seething anger in Aswad.
4. Mahira Khan as Mehreen in HKKST
Mahira jee, hum kaya bolain, lafz kum hain. What a heartening performance – you made us cry, feel tense & then just wait anxiously to find out what will Mehreen do next?
5. Affan Waheed as Ibaad in Pardes
Affan wins us with a relatable performance that portrayed the change happening within Ibaad, the conflict with his own self. It requires great talent to ace a realistic yet impactful performance.
6. Ahmed Ali Akbar as Parizaad
The subtle shift in Parizaad’s expressions, his surprise, his delight at being in the city was so endearing & Ahmed delivered this role to perfection.
7. Hassan Shah as Janu in Parizaad
In just one epiosde, we have already become Janu’s fans – A performance that impressed & complimented Ahmed Ali’s performance, hence adding to Parizaad’s journey in every sense to make his entire experience more engaging to watch.
8. Gohar Rasheed as Daniyal in Laapata
And we have a standing ovation for his performance as Daniyal. From instilling instant fear, to totally creeping us out, to mesmerising us with his performance – Gohar is not coming slow.
9. Aliya Ali as Aliya in Neeli Zinda Hai
A noteworthy performance from Aliya portraying the turmoil & mental stress that Aliya’s character is going through after being accused of a murder. We have our eye on you!
