How he portrayed the confusion, shock, disbelief & then slight smile at the irony of the situation is praiseworthy.
2. Ahsan Khan in Qissa Meherbano Ka
Ahsan Khan again delivers an impressive performance fooling us along with his wife. The way he has gotten into the skin of the character, and changes his stance is not only impressive but makes the drama so much more interesting.
3. Asad Mumtaz Malik as Guru in Parizaad
His performance as Guru is a sure shot winner, breaking stereotypes & communicating strong messages.
4. Arez as Khalid in Mohabbat Daagh Ki Soorat
What a great performance. He has slipped into Khalid’s skin & delivers this role with such ease & perfection that we can’t think of him as anyone but Khalid.
5. Bilal Abbas as Maahir in Dobara
A huge round of applause for Bilal as Maahir. He not only gave us a refreshingly different performance to his previous roles, he was a natural as Maahir, making us smile, root for him and then feel for him.
6. Yumna Zaidi as Azka in Ishq E Laa
Wah wah Yumna jee, Kiya performance dee hai.. again reminding us all that you always give us something hut kay from your previous roles. We loved Azka’s strong girl character along with her simplicity.
7. Sajal Aly as Shanaya in Ishq E Laa
Shanaya, a character many young girls can relate to thanks to how relatable, realistic simple Sajal has kept it in every aspect, from wardrobe to performance.
8. Nadia Afgan as Inspector Badar in Parizaad
How sensitively she has portrayed the role of a female inspector is praiseworthy. The right blend of firmness & elegance with no over the top acting.
9. Seemi Raheel as Khadija in Ishq E Laa
It was such a pleasure to watch Seemi jee again but in a different character from her recent roles – the strong & firm mother who won’t let anyone harm her daughter.
10. Sunita Marshall in Mohabbat Daagh Ki Soorat
Sunita Marshall delivers a heart winning performance, the wife who, despite being abused by the husband, tries to understand him and be there for him.
