With winter upon us, it calls for a renewed fall skincare routine. A little change can go a long way and often give the best results too!

Here are 5 fall skincare tips you should try, for that forever young and glowing skin!

1. Keep A Moisturizer With You At All Times

During the transition period, from summer to fall, a moisturizer should be your best friend. The colder it gets, the drier it gets too, leading to the skin cracking. So, to avoid that it’s always important to moisturize. The best time to moisturize is post-shower for the best results.

Tip: Apply aloe vera gel first and 5 minutes later apply your moisturizer. I’ve just started this and I wish I had started it sooner. It keeps the skin smooth and wrinkle-free!

2. Sunscreen Should Be Your New BFF

Sunscreen should not only be used in the summers but all year round. During winters, the sun rays can also cause sunburns and damage your skin in the long run. Plus, it adds extra moisture to the skin, making it extra useful!

Recommendation:

I’ve started using the Ozone sunscreen and it works wonders! Plus gives me that extra glow too! Best of both worlds, right?

3. Cut Down On Exfoliation – Give Your Skin A Break!

At times, there can be excess oil, and man oh man, do we want to exfoliate and wipe it off! But that’s not how it’s supposed to be, sadly. Over-exfoliation can harm the skin and in the long run, damages the skin layer. Redness and rashes? No thanks.

So exfoliate one or two times a week only. Let your skin be itself and embrace it!

4. Hydrate, Hydrate And Hydrate!

To prevent winter dryness, its the best to hydrate. According to doctors, approximately 2.7 to 3 liters is recommended.

5. Keep A Lip Balm In Handy!

Don’t know how it is for you, but in fall and winter, lips become dry and the skin starts coming off. So, to avoid that, keep a lip balm with you all the time for that extra moisture and to prevent them from drying up!

6. Petroleum Jelly Is A Must

Petroleum Jelly is a must-have. Apply it at night before sleeping and see the best results in the morning! Trust me, I’ve tested it, love it, and HIGHLY recommend it. It keeps the skin from breaking apart and bye-bye dryness!

For me, the trusted and everyone’s favorite, Vaseline does it!
