Sinf e Aahan has us all excited about its story. The first episode has got viewers rightly intrigued about the diverse stories of the seven empowered girls. We were lucky enough to have Arzoo aka Syra from Sinf e Aahan who helped us get more insights into what transpired behind the scenes on the sets of Sinf e Aahan! Here’s what she has to say about her experience with the cast!
Everyone had to overcome their own fears, whether it was crawling through a tunnel jumping off a 6 feet high wall, or walking a wooden ramp high above the ground – we all faced our fears, no one said they can’t do it, and there was no cutting corners – if you had to run the whole length of the way – you did! Syra Yousaf relates BTS moments from the sets of Sinf e Aahan with a sparkle in her eyes. “If I could join the Army, I would! She reveals!”

1. Miss Yousuf Reveals That Sajal Aly Has A Good Sense Of Humor
I think Sajal enjoys comedy, and that’s what makes her sense of humor very interesting. She loves old songs, and has perfect one liners delivered at the right time!

Syra says that Sajal enjoys comedy and her sense of humor is hilarious. Sajal also loves old songs and has perfect one liners at the right time. She is also very hardworking and manages to do quite a lot. She enjoys comedy. Her interactions amongst us were funny always. Therefore, it was, but natural, that when Sajal was in the mood, so to speak, it was very entertaining for the others on the set too.
2. Syra Shares How Yumna Used To Tease Her!
Yumna grilled me for a day about my pose thing. Every time she used to come to me and say “Syra, the way you pose.”

Talking about Yumna Zaidi, Syra revealed that she used to roast her often about how she poses. She went on to say that Yumna grilled her for a day about having a different personality in front of the camera. Yumna is very authentic – “Jo dil mein hai, woh saamne hai” reveals Syra.
3. Kubra Adding A Fun Angle On The Set!
Kubra is very thoughtful. If she sees something she things you would like, she will pick it up and bring it for you. She adds a twist to everything, which would make it more fun.

Syra talks about how Kubra’s sense of humor is different from the rest. She further elaborates that Kubra adds a twist to everything. Moreover, she stated that then everyone on the set would also resonate with Kubra and add on their own versions, making things even more fun.
“Kubra is very thoughtful. If she sees something she things you would like, she will pick it up and bring it for you.” – Syra.
4. Syra Says Ramsha Khan & Dananeer Brought Many Other Characters To Life & Entertained Everyone On Set!
Ramsha & Dananeer would play characters and be somebody else. Woh khud se stories bhi bana deite just for fun.

Syra shares a recollection of shooting at a particular place for three nights straight with the others girls. While sharing that memory, she revealed that Ramsha & Dananeer used to play characters on their own and make up scenarios to entertain everyone. They made the experience more memorable in their own unique way – “Apna hi drama chal raha hai” – that would definitely add the fun factor to the BTS experience!
Working in such close proximity helps you get to know your costars better, especially since Syra had worked with all of them for the very first time – “Ramsha is very caring. Very sorted. She knows what she likes and doesn’t like.” – opined Syra.
5. Syra On Dananeer Mobeen’s Vlogging Experience While On The Shoot
Humein pictures waghera lena allowed hi nahi tha because if we tried to, they would go like ‘no ma’am’. We weren’t allowed to take pictures. That’s how they maintained the confidentiality but Dananeer would try and shoot for a little bit for her blog.

Miss Yousuf revealed that they weren’t really allowed to take pictures or make videos due to strict Army orders. It was part of their efforts to keep the project under wraps, which she, herself believes was good and added to the audience anticipation to know what’s cooking.
Interesting observation shared by Syra – “Dananeer is very evolved. You can talk to her about anything and everything.”
6. Syra Says Tashiya Missed Out On Jokes Due To Language Barrier!
Hum log sets peh English aur Urdu mein bhi buhat bolte thai, so Taashiya I am sure used to miss out on some jokes.

As Tashiya is from Srilanka, she couldn’t always understand our Urdu’, Syra adds. Even though everyone used to try to talk in English for the most part, Tashiya used to miss out on jokes sometimes due to the language barrier. But by the end of it all, she caught on to Urdu pretty well!
Syra added about Tashia – “She is a very intelligent, skilled actor”. Lastly, she says that Tashiya & Dananeer gelled well together, and they all made the most of it and had a great time.
“When we had time we’d try and hangout and be each others comfort zone … Everyone had a different sense of humour and to experience everything together was an experience in itself!” – Syra wraps it up for us and we can, but only imagine the experience the cast members went through together – we’re sure it was well worth it, as we’re about to witness on screen!
