Mohib Mirza vs HSY fighting a duel, the return of Sanam Saeed on the screen, a non-holiday release plus an action packed movie- Ishrat made in China has already raised the bar even before its release.
Drama, comedy, dance numbers, and A LOT of action is what seems to await us in the much-anticipated film by Mohib Mirza, who is not only the male lead, but also the director and screenplay writer of the film. Produced under the banner of Ek Alif Films and Eleven Eleven Films, the first teaser bowled the audience over due to its larger-than-life sequences, a sprinkle of drama and comedy action scenes interlaced between them.
A spin-off of the 2006 TV series Ishrat Baji, the film is all set to release on 3rd March 2022. It has been shot in Thailand and its first look was released on 17th December. As seen from the trailer, Mohib Mirza will be essaying the role of Ishrat, an ambitious man who wants to make money, which he thinks will change his life. After getting an opportunity of a lifetime to go to China and make money from the fights he wins, Ishrat agrees in the blink of an eye.
However, things go south very soon and he finds himself challenged to a duel by a man who is has so far, remained unbeatable. Mohib Mirza slips comfortably in character, throwing the right expressions in every scene, and we wait to see him bring back to life the role of Ishrat after 15 years.
A lot about the plot is still under wraps (thankfully). The trailer has teased but not revealed all. Nonetheless, we seem to be in for an engaging watch!
Sanam Saeed will be starring across Mohib – adding a dramatic element no doubt. It has been a while since her fans have watched her on screen (other than recent short films)and after a long wait, this is definitely a treat for the audience!
In addition, we will also be seeing HSY (apparently playing the villain here). Previously, we have seen him in his debut role in Pehli Si Mohabbat. Intense, gripping and turning quite a few heads – HSY has revealed that the character was written keeping him in mind, so how could he possibly refuse?
The voiceover rap like feel throughout the trailer adds an element of fun, intrigue and comic to the frames – Mohib promises it will be a laugh and a half!
