Sinister doesn’t even fully convey Qaiser’s activities in Peeranpur. Scroll down for FUCHSIA’s review of Badshah Begum.

The scene where he hits the boy with his car was executed with brutal precision & communicated the sheer ruthlessness of his character.
We Hope Bakhtiar Knows What He’s Doing!
Oh dear Bakhtiar, sher ke moon mein sar dena toh koi aap se seekhay! You have no idea what carries on in this village and here you are, walking straight into the lion’s den to meet your Jehan Ara. Badshah Begum suspects your intentions and you are already on her radar – ab aap ki kher nahi Bakhtiar ji! Though, we think you are not that simple, especially the way you responded to Murad about city girls and deleted his photograph ek dum! Smooth move there!
Is Jehan Ara Badshah Begum Material?
Shahzeb suffers a shock as he feels the throne is about to be pulled from under his feet but no one in Peeranpur has the faintest idea that Pir Shah Alam is planning to handover the reins of power to … yes, you guessed it, Jehan Ara?
But is Jehan Ara really Badshah Begum material? We loved the father-daughter conversation where Pir Shah advises her that Badshah Begum is actually one who lives in fear herself rather than one to be feared. Do you agree?
We sure saw a spark where Jehan Ara rose to her mother’s defense instantly, not fearing Badshah Begum’s wrath. It is good to spot these subtle traits in Jehan Ara’s character to prepare us for what’s to come, and Zara Noor Abbas has communicated them with ease and flair!
The story keeps us riveted right till the end as Qaiser’s servant reveals a secret to Shahzeb… What do you think she told him?
We are hoping there is a bond developing between the two brothers Shahmir and Shahzeb – a bit of positivity never hurt a story, but infact, makes it more human.
