Eid is just just a few days away, meaning, along with Eid preps, people are getting ready to hit their nearest cinemas to watch their favorite stars on the big screen. This year, we are getting back-to-back films which we are super excited about and all geared up for. Will we watch them all in a row or in between breaks? Well, we have yet to decide.

eid films, ghabrana nahi hai, parde mein rehne do, chakkar, dum mastam

To make it easier for you, here are the 4 movies that are about to hit the big screens near you very soon!

1. Dum Mastam

Dum Mastam stars the Imran Ashraf (who we’re currently seeing as Bilal Chaudhry in Chaudhry & Sons) along with the talented Amar Khan. The story revolves around Alia (Khan) and Bao (Ashraf), who are caught up in a heady love story – full of challenges. Will they get a happy ending? That’s what we’re to find out.

Dum Mastam has larger than life frames, drama, beautiful scenery, a bit of heartbreak – the full package! It’s written by Amar Khan, directed by Ehtishamuddin, produced by Adnan Siddiqui and Akhtar Hasnain. The teaser and songs have already caught our attention, what about you?

2. Ghabrana Nahi Hai

The trailer doesn’t give away much, keeping the thrill and suspense. It stars Zahid Ahmed, Saba Qamar, and Syed Jibran as leads, along with Sohail Ahmed, Afzal Khan (Rambo), Nayyar Ejaz, Saleem Mairaj, and Dodi Khan.

From the first look, we can tell that it’s about romance, action, corruption, women empowerment, and politics. We can’t wait to see how writer Mohsin Ali interlinks all the themes and how director Saqib Khan brings us this thriller saga. Catch the trailer here:

3. Parde Main Rehne Do

Parde Mein Rehne Do gives us a love story intertwined with social issues and topics which our society considers taboo. The story revolves around Shaani (Ali Rehman Khan) and Nazo ( Hania Aamir), a couple who’s struggling to have children. The film shows us how society reacts to this taboo, the complications, and logon ka sawaal: ‘Khush khabri kab do ge?’

The film is written by Mohsin Ali, directed and produced by Shazia Wajahat and Wajahat Rauf under the banner of Showcase. It’s great to see a film take up a social issue like this and we can’t wait to see how it will be executed. Plus, the song, Peela Rung has been playing in our heads on repeat! In case you missed it, here’s the trailer:

4. Chakkar

Chakkar, starring Ahsan Khan, Neelam Muneer, Yasir Nawaz, Mehmood Aslam, is a story of a model Zara, who’s ambitious, wants to thrive, and live on her own terms. She faces challenges within the home and in the industry but things take an unexpected turn. That’s where the thrill begins. Action-packed, suspense, murder-mystery is the vibes the trailer is giving us.

The film is directed by Yasir Nawaz and is a production of Farid Nawaz Productions. We can’t wait to experience the thrill on the big screen!

So many great stories and films are geared up to hit the cinemas near us. Which one are you most excited for? Let us know!
