1. Bilal Abbas Khan as Maahir in Dobara

It was a heart touching performance by Bilal Abbas Khan as Maahir comes face to face with Nermeen. All his pain, his sense of loss came back to him & it reflected in his eyes. Impressive how, without uttering a single word & without any exaggerated expressions, Bilal managed to deliver an emotional yet impactful performance that moved us.
2. Zoya Nasir as Nermeen in Dobara

We felt Nermeen’s pain, ghabrana, and her effort to flee as she faced Maahir. Her entire demeanor was reflective of the emotional turmoil she experienced at that moment. Brilliantly played by Zoya.
3. Hania Aamir as Hala in Mere Humsafar

Oh Hania jee, you are not only taking our breath away with your beauty but also the way you have portrayed the innocence & subtle transition in Hala’s character. It is irresistible. What a heart-winning performance.
4. Farhan Saeed as Hamza in Mere Humsafar

It is impressive how Farhan Saeed brings in variation within Hamza’s character, as the story progresses. Right now we see the more in control, settled Hama who is enjoying the new side of Hala immensely. How Farhan portrays these subtle yet impactful expressions in response to Hala’s reactions to his advances is noteworthy and makes the scenes so much more enjoyable.
5. Feroze Khan as Basit in Habs

It is so refreshing to see Feroze Khan in a character that is not toxic or portraying extreme behaviour – that is the charm of Feroze khan. And the testament of his ability to perform a simple scene or character in such a way that we can’t help but love the character & appreciate his performance. Basit in Habs is giving us reasons to watch!
6. Atif Aslam as Hilmand in Sang e Mah

Loved how Atif Aslam showed the jealous, angry, emotional & childish side of Hilmand as he did shikwa with Shehrezade about trusting Marjaan. It was so realistic & just won our heart.
7. Affan Waheed as Sikander in Dilawaiz

Affan gave an impressive and emotional performance as Sikander. Feeling suppressed anger & bitterness towards Dilawaiz, Sikander brings her home as his bride. It was interesting to see that he portrayed more of Sikander’s helplessness at the situation rather than merely lashing out & showing his anger.
8. Juvaria Abbasi as Roshan Ara in Dilawaiz

Impressive how Juvaria Abbasi doesn’t shift from the character even for a second. The way she shows hatred towards Dilawaiz, the mehroomi, the bitterness of being the 2nd wife makes an interesting watch.
9. Adnan Samad as Nael in Fraud

A lovely surprise to watch Adnan Samad in Fraud. He proves that he can not only do character roles with brilliance but can perform a regular ‘guy next door’ role with the same ability and talent.
