Team Ms. Marvel is geared all up for the big release and have taken their marketing strategies up a notch! The team just released two clips from the miniseries to tease their fans and seem to have done the job right.
Ms. Marvel is a six-episode miniseries all set to release on 8th June on Disney+. It is based on the Marvel Comics featuring the character Kamala Khan a.k.a Ms. Marvel. It is the story of Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani), a Pakistani-American teen based in New Jersey.
Unfortuantely fans won’t be able to stream the series as Disney+ is not available in Pakistan, however there is good news for Pakistani fans as it will be released exclusively in the theatres in three parts. Episodes one and two will be released on June 16, three and four on June 30, and five and six on July 14.
Coming to the two clips, they were definitely a sight for sore eyes! Seeing Iman Vellani as teenager Kamala in one clip and then mirroring Ms. Marvel in another was a treat to watch!
Clip 1: Kamala Gets Permission To Go To An Avenger’s Party
In the first clip we see Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani) with her parents Muneeba Khan (Zenobia Shroff) and Yusuf Khan (Mohan Kapur). The first clip had us laughing even though it might have been a bit too relatable to all desi kids – parents who often find it hard to draw boundaries and who are too eager to protect their children (checked), and lastly kids who often find themselves in awkward situations when their parents fail to understand the desperation have their freedom (checked).
In the short 30-second clip we see Kamala’s mother agreeing to send her to an Avenger’s costume party but has a little surprise for her where she reveals that her father will not only accompany her to the party but will also wear a Hulk costume to match hers!
On a side note while we felt for Kamala, the term “Chak De Patthe” seemed to not go unnoticed by fans who handed out a divided reaction!
Twitter got caught up in the moment!

Chak de Phatte
Unironically I love this. Bye.
Clip 2: Ms. Marvel Makes An Appearance Ft. Bruno Carelli
In the second clip, we see Kamala trying to comprehend her new role as Ms. Marvel. We see her discovering her new powers and checking out how and if they actually work! Meanwhile, as she does so, we also see Matt Lintz played by Bruno Carelli trying to help her figure stuff out and we can agree that the two share great chemistry.
Undeniably, it looked more like a scene from a Disney show than from MC movies, we still have our hopes up!
Twitter Could Not Have Agreed With Us More!

Some Love For Iman
#MsMarvel thoughts: – Iman is fantastic. She’s relatable, likable, funny, everything you would want in Kamala. – Jersey City feels alive in a way that no other location in the MCU has been. Has life similar to the NYC in Raimi’s Spider-Man movies.
Couldn’t Agree More!
Pakistaniand Muslim Representation in #MsMarvel is great, not perfect but certainly better than anything else. It really does feel like a Pakistani household. Not dealing too much with the harder hitting topics yet but that’s definitely setup and is just on the horizon.
Which clip did you like more and do tell us if you’ve already marked the date for the big cinema release!
