1. Irsa Ghazal as Shamo jee in Kuch Ankahi
What a winning and realistic performance by Irsa Ghazal. She shows us the portrayal of a mother whom we see all around us and makes us smile and get all emotional about how mothers are – Always straight forward yet always loving.
2. Ali Safina as Saif Ur Rehman in Kuch Ankahi
Saif ur Rahman played by Ali Safina is beyond exceptional. Along with Agha jee he also confuses us as Saif – when he is dishonest with Agha jee, is he really being sincere or is this his double-faced side being displayed though a great performance.
3. Kinza Hashmi as Azmia in Mere Ban Jao
Loved how Kinza portrayed the turmoil that’s building up inside Azmia. The gradual process through which she finally builds up the courage to tell her mother she doesn’t want to get married and then eventually, leave the house. A very heart-touching performance.
4. Rabya Kulsoom as Neelo in Mujhe Pyar Hua Tha
What a powerful performance! Neelo is blunt but not evil. That saves her from our hate, despite her full blast meltdown on Maheer assuming Maheer is involved with Areeb. Rabya delivered a great performance, that aptly conveyed Neelo’s pain for her brother.
5. Ali Abbas as Meheryaar in Agar
A mention-worthy performance where Ali ensures that Meheryaar is not just imperfect, he is someone whose imperfections make him less appealing, and create sympathy rather than empathy.
6. Bushra Ansari as Maa Begum in Tere Bin
We love how Bushra Ansari has made Maa Begum a character whose priority is her son, and she switches her behavior according to the situation that suits her son the best. She keeps us wondering if she is positive or negative.
7. Sabeena Farooqi as Haya in Tere Bin
A great performance where Sabeena amuses us and also tests our patience. Unlike many negative characters, when Haya expresses her feelings for Murtasim, Sabeena’s delivery is passionate and sincere.
8. Wahaj Ali as Murtasim & Saad
Saad takes our breath away with his ‘dil se’ dialogues, Murtasim blows us away with his ‘more than dil se’ looks! Wahaj Ali you are giving massive husband goals in Mujhe Pyar Hua Tha & teaching us new ways to romance in Tere Bin – And we’re loving you in both moods!
9. Yumna Zaidi as Meerab In Tere Bin
Meerab aka Yumna is acing the expressions game. From startled at Murtasim’s love overdose to indignant over Haya’s gajras to playful when downing gol gappas with Murtasim. We are loving her as Meerab in all her different moods!
