Twitteratis have had to bid adieu to the iconic blue bird to now be greeted by a large lifeless X as Twitter rebrands! Who else wants the blue birdie back?

The past couple days have been rather eerie, the iconic and instantly recognizable blue bird in the world of social media is now being bid adieu. As his perpetual self, Musk went on a twitter rant late Sunday night announcing his plans to drop the blue birdie and rebranding Twitter as X. The official change was instead put into action on Monday marking another major shift since his take over of the social media platform.
The X rebranding isn’t mysteriously unknown, right off the bat you can re call Elon’s love affair with the letter to his space company, SpaceX, a Tesla model “X” and even his kid’s name is X Æ A-12. He says his plan is to turn Twitter into the “X, everything app” For him X, “embody the imperfections in us all that make us unique.” His justification and reasoning for the re brand really does not impress us or even merely excites us. It’s bland, lifeless, robotic and puts us on edge about even relating to the app. Twitter CEO Linda Yaccarino said in her twitter posts, how the rebrand is the first step to move to push the app in new directions. “X is the future state of unlimited interactivity — centered in audio, video, messaging, payments/banking — creating a global marketplace for ideas, goods, services, and opportunities,” she wrote. “Powered by AI, X will connect us all in ways we’re just beginning to imagine.”
Its despairing staring at your screen at the two logos side by side and losing further hope in how and why Elon Musk continues to take such horrible decisions. Why did the perfectly good logo that represented the good spirit of spreading the word, sharing your view points in a light quick way in a space the meant all that is chirpy, chatty and merry (most of the times) Its the logo and its embedded philosophy that hauled over people willing to share their perspectives. Where as the dreary looking robotic numeric X robs Twitter of all it continued to stood for since its launch. We doubt if this rebranding might be the do over Twitter needed rather quite the opposite. No we don’t want X to be replacing the bird to make a bigger impression because lets be real, can the mundane looking X even rival the the blue bird that has enabled our incessant twittering (get it?) Who let Elon Musk buy twitter?
If you still don’t grasp the distaste for the rebrand, let us give you a down low from the users on the app itself:
Unimaginative Cliché Is What It Is!
“Goodbye, Twitter. Hello, to the unbelievably, unimaginative cliche that is Brand X. #RIPTwitter #TwitterX“
The X Rebrand Looks Like The Logo Of A Men’s Shaving Brand
“The Twitter Bird was a decent brand, it is friendly and conveys what Twitter is about, social messaging, calling out to other people The new Twitter X is what? It says nothing, in fact, it looks like the logo of a company that makes men’s shaving products. #TwitterX“
Decoding The Real (Not So Noble) Inspiration
“What inspired Elon Musk… #TwitterX #ElonMusk“
Is Twitter Now A Robot In Distress?
“Does anyone else feel like @Twitter‘s bio line: “What’s happening?!” now just feels absolutely foreboding? Like a robot in distress… #TwitterX #RIPTwitter“
Elon Killed The Bird Beginning Darker Times
“Compare the emotional response these two images evoke, and it seems fitting that Elon killed the bird. The brutalist X feels more aligned to this site now. It’s a darker, stark and more severe place. #TwitterX“
If It Ain’t Broke, Don’t Fix It Elon!
“Seriously can’t understand why Elon Musk is changing so much of Twitter and calling it X and now wants people to call tweets X’s if it ain’t broke don’t fix it Elon. #GoodbyeTwitter#RIPTwitter#ElonMusk“
Waiting For Elon To Stop Making Terrible Decisions
“POV: you’re waiting for Elon Musk to stop making terrible decisions #RIPTwitter#TwitterX“
We propose a petition to bring back the blue birdie, what did the bird do to you Elon and no you can not kill all the birds! What do you think about the rebrand?
