What Is The Chevening Scholarship?
Chevening scholarships are the UK government’s global scholarship program for individuals wanting to enroll in the Master’s program of any UK university. It kickstarted in 1983 and has provided a learning opportunity to around 50,000 students till now. According to the UK Government’s website, there are 1500 applications on offer for the 2023/2024 academic year globally. It is a fully-funded scholarship meaning the flights fare, accommodation, and course fees are all paid for once you get accepted into the program.
Eligibility Criteria
Here are the 5 things you need to be eligible for Chevening scholarships.
1. You must be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country.
2. You should have at least 2 years of work experience.
3. You must return to your country of origin for two years after the scholarship ends.
4. You should apply to 3 UK university courses and have at least one unconditional offer from one of these universities by 13th July 2023.
5. Lastly, you must have completed and passed all the components of your bachelor’s degree before applying for Chevening scholarships.

How To Apply
First, you will need to register on their website by making an account. Save your username and password somewhere safe so it’s easier for you to log back in. Second, start filling out your application form and make sure to enter the correct information, especially your academic record and contact details.
