Meeting up for coffee becomes an essential activity when the larger part of your day consists of baby talk. Not that you don’t love your child or enjoy the multiple magical moments of motherhood. However, there’s always that point in the day when you need a break & an uninterrupted cup of coffee, chatting with a friend, doing it at a cafe (with your toddler in tow) becomes an unachievable task.

Here’s how to ace that moment!

1. Carry A Pouch With His/Her Favourite Mini Toys.

Miniature animals, dinky cars, dolls, anything that is compact to carry and can be taken out one at time.

Toddler concentration levels are short so you want to space out the toys he plays with. One toy at one time will keep him engrossed for longer. The moment you see his attention wavering, hand over another. This gimmick works really well as long as the toys you carry stay in your carry bag and your child isn’t used to playing with them at home. The novelty factor is a biggie!

2. Coloring Book, Paper, Pencil. Some Fun Writing Material

Yes. This is an age old accessory, but it works if you give him/her a digital screen where he can copy a drawing from an children’s art app. Creating your own artwork with online help keeps a child busy because he doesn’t have to disturb you constantly for ideas and m, although it’s a digital screen he’s watching, he’s using it to create on paper. So not such a bad idea to compromise on instead of him mindlessly watching cartoons or a YouTube video.

You can check out the videos from Art for Kids Hub on YouTube too!

3. Carry Play Doh

Yes. Its old but gold. Playdoh gets children to use their hands which they love doing btw. Make sure to get mini versions of everything, lay them out on the table where you’re having coffee and let him have his messy me time too.

4. The Dreaded iPad Or Tablet

Yes, it is the easy solution to hand over a digital screen if all else fails. Perhaps you can promise him the screen for the last 20 min of your coffee time if he plays with other things earlier. You can always ensure the aps he’s using are child friendly, educational & fun so he learns as he plays!

That’s our 4 ways to get your me time in between motherhood! Tell is if you have a better idea & we’d love to add it to our list!

yes, you are saying right about toys for kids. carry toys playing an important role for parents relaxation. When you are out side of your home and your children’s teasing you and you have carry toys for kids you are lucky to solve the problem on the spot. Oh remember, once i bought carry toys for kids from an e commerce store leyjao.pk. I highly recommend you to go there and buy toys for kids and enjoyed.
