After Khirad and Asher’s marriage, the scene where Khirad asks her Mamo why he bound her and Ashar into an unwanted relationship just for the sake of looking after her when her mother died was indeed a poignant scene. It was one of the first scenes where we saw Khirad as a strong girl speaking for herself, the way she questioned Ashar’s father made us root for her all over again!
4) Khirad’s Arrival Into Ashar’s Room
One of the very memorable scenes, the scene where Ashar brings Khirad to his room and says that he will try his best to make this relation work was definately a heart-warming scene. Ashar’s mannerisms of and Khirad’s nervous anxiety both added charm to the scene.
5) Ashar’s Surrender To Love

6)”Tum mujhe tiktiki bandh ker dekhti rehti ho”-another swoon worthy moment
Ashar’s confrontaion with Khirad, that she is always watching him when he is doing some work and the moment Ashar looks back at her she lowers her eyes was indeed a heart-warming scene. The way Ashar adresses Khirad and Khirad’s nervous blushing while looking at him made the Ashar and Khirad jori stamped in time for us as the best ever to grace our screens.
7) Ashar Compliments Khirad
When Khirad was standing infront of the mirror wearing a black dress and Ashar comes and looks at her with love and says “Bohat achi lag rahi ho”, the scene added more beauty to Humsafar. Just after complimenting, Ashar unties her hair and forces Khirad and all of us watching to blush is surely a scene set in stone.
8) “Ap mujhse naraz hein?”- Khirad asks Ashar
The scene where Khirad comes home late and Ashar isnt talking to her, and Khirad tries to convince him was an addorable scene. However, the way Ashar gets angry at her surely made us a bit sad, but still, we loved the way Khirad tried to convince him.

Khirad’s lovely words, when she stood next to Ashar and said, “Apka siwa mera aur koi nahi, koi rishta nahi hai, koi apna nahi hai, ap mera sab kuch hein Asher.” This scene was so beautiful yet heart-touching, Khirad saying to Ashar all these words just captured our hearts.
10) Ashar Reads Khirad’s Letter
Last but not the least, when Asher reads Khirad’s letter and starts to understand the whole event which caused the misunderstanding left us in tears. The helplessness we could feel through Khirad’s words left us emotional and teary-eyed.
What a drama Humsafar was, it has completed a decade and still is in the heart of its audience. The beautiful Mahira Khan with Fawad Khan on-screen were lovely to watch. Humsafar, Ashar and Khirad still are in the hearts of people and are strongly remembered.
