Since the past few years, Ramzan entertainment has gained much hype in Pakistan. These Ramzan dramas are light-hearted, mindless watches, that are perfect for families to sit together and indulge in some entertaining content as they unwind after a hectic day.
Ramzan being less than two months away, Muslims all around the world are already looking for the festivities ahead. As all the preparations are in full swing, the drama producers are not behind and the Ramzan drama content is already on the cards.

From the hit duo of Chupke Chupke starring Arslan Naseer and Aymen Saleem to the heartthrobs of the nation, Ayeza Khan and Imran Ashraf, all your favorite stars are all set to bring you entertaining content throughout Ramzan. Here are three dramas that we are looking forward to seeing in Ramzan 2022!
Chaudhary And Sons
Starring Ayeza Khan and Imran Ashraf, Chaudhary and Sons is penned by the talented writer, Saima Akram Chaudry. She has previously written many hit comedy dramas including Suno Chanda, Chupke Chupke, Ishq Jalebi, and others. The drama is going to be a thriller-comedy, revolving around a typical desi family and will be airing on GEO TV.

Both Ayeza Khan and Imran Ashraf are big names of our entertainment industry and both have won the National Pride of Performance accolade. Ayeza Khan has many hit drama serials under her name including Pyarey Afzal for which she bagged the award of the Best Actress at LUX Style Awards.
Her other dramas include Meray Pass Tum Ho, Chupke Chupke, Koi Chand Rakh, and Meherposh. As for Imran Ashraf, he is undoubtedly one of the best actors in the Pakistan drama industry. His most famous role has been of Bhola in Ranjha Ranjha Kardi where he essayed the role of an unstable man. He received praises from the audience and critics alike. We also saw him in Dil Lagi, Alif Allah Aur Insaan, Raqs e Bismil and anticipate seeing him in the upcoming movie Dum Mastam with Amar Khan.
Needless to say, we are expecting nothing but a blockbuster when these two talent houses collaborate.
Paristan – Starring Aymen Saleem And Arslan Naseer
The renowned script writer Samra Bukhari and director Ali Hasan, are all set to keep us entertained during Ramazan with a comedy series. Starring Mooroo, Mira Sethi, Merub Ali, Junaid Jamshaid Niazi, Navin Waqar, Ali Safina alongside the nation’s loved duo of Chupke Chupke, Aymen Saleem & Arslan Naseer.

So far, we know that the main character is called “Pari” and the plot revolves around getting the women in the family married off. Navin Waqar’s character Mehreen will reportedly be a self-indulgent woman living in her daydreams. Meanwhile, Javeria Saud’s character is a Punjabi woman whom we’re hoping is as memorable as Saima Chaudhary played by Bushra Ansari in Annie Ki Ayegi Barat!
Here is a post which Mira Sethi shared on Instagram related to Paristan:

Hum Tum
Though less is known about the upcoming drama, Hum Tum, which is anticipated to release on HUM TV, the fans are excited as the rumors suggest that Ahad Raza Mir and Ramsha Khan will be the lead pair. Danish Nawaz will be directing the drama.

This is likely to be the first time that the Pakistani audience is going to see Ahad Raza Mir in a comedy role (though no details about his character have been released as of yet). Previously we have seen him in dramas inclduing Yakeen Ka safar, Ye Dil Mera, Aangan, Ehd e Wafa among others. Ramsha Khan is currently swaying the audience with her performance in Sinf e Aahan as Pariwash. She has also played comic roles before in the drama Shehnai and Ghisi Piti Mohabbat. Assuredly, we are excited to see this pair rule our screens in Ramazan!
We are expecting these dramas to air in Ramazan and fill our evenings with laughter. However, we do hope that this year the content takes a step outside the domestic household and has more to the storyline and plot to keep the audience hooked!
