Sajal Aly has never failed to amuse us with her exceptional choice of projects, be it ‘Alif‘, ‘Aagan‘, ‘Ishq e Laa‘, yet to be released ‘What’s Love Got To Do With It?‘ & now she will be seen playing Fatima Jinnah in an upcoming project.

The series is being directed by Daniyal K Afzal who was recently seen in Usman Mukhtar’s Gulabo Rani. Most of the details are still under wraps, however, Daniyal told Dawn Images that Sajal Aly, Samiya Mumtaz, and Sundus Farhan will be playing Fatima Jinnah in three different phases of her life. The said series will have not one, not two but three seasons that will depict the pre-independence era, the independence era, and the post-independence era respectively and the seasons will focus on Fatima Jinnah’s life during all three phases.
The show is being produced by a newfound production house called ‘Aur Studios.’ The Pakistani audience is well-versed with OTT platforms and content, Daniyal told Dawn Images that his series, although OTT-centric, the show could also be suitable to watch on our TV channels. Well, we are excited either way!
When Will We Get To Watch It?
Fans will be able to watch the prologue as early as the 14th of August. What better way to awaken the patriot in our Pakistani hearts?

There is a lot more to be revealed as we await the prologue on 14th August, however, it will definitely be intriguing to watch three of our actresses play the role of the same person, that too of none other than the ‘Mother of The Nation’!
