“Can I just say, its so good to see a practical mother in law who understands her dil’s dilemma and assures her of her support. So heartwarming. Also its funny how Maa Begum never even considered Haya for Murtasim. Had it not been Meerub, it wouldn’t have been Haya either”

While we love the twitter euphoria over Maa Begum’s spiel on mothers in law, we wish she hadn’t just schooled Meerab to tend solely to Murtasim’s needs, but acknowledged the fact that her bahu is a complete person in herself, with her own dreams and ambitions in life – keeping Murtasim happy is one thing, but just letting herself seek happiness in his happiness is unfair.
