We were hoping Dobara will show & normalise a younger man falling in love with an older woman, & not Maahir choosing Mehroo because it is a lucrative option or he has no other way out. Or can we be a little khushfehm & believe Maahir likes her but hasn’t realized it yet?

Are You Feeling For Maahir?
Maahir crying in the hospital over the insensitivity of his parents was really heart-touching… and made one feel for him.

Oh, Maahir we would have liked to see more self-respect from you, maybe by denying the private room?
It is interesting how the script makes us feel for him at some points but then also shows us these questionable aspects of his personality that make him someone who takes the easy way out by blaming his own shortcomings on halaat & people around him.
Some Comic Relief

The episode treated us to some comic scenes between Mehroo & Ibtisaam. Javed Sheikh is giving us such a fine & realistic performance.
We do wonder, how the entire front part of a car bumper detached & how it was happily left behind by Mehru. Maybe a damaged one side of the bumper would have been more realistic. However, it did add a comic touch to the events.
Maahir’s friend’s dialogues pushing him to think about marrying Mehroo made you cringe & sad at the same time. They were also reflective of how society thinks about such relationships, where there is not only an age gap but also a status difference.
Affaan continues to portray the son who is emotional & cannot imagine Mehroo as anything but his mom, he needs time. On a lighter note, Affaan bhai given your nonstop tantrums, we have a song for you…
