Who are you rooting for?
1. Yumna Zaidi as Shaista in Sinf-e-Aahan

How beautifully she portrayed the fear, the hesitation, shock and then came the tears when her father hugs her. You took us with Shaista in that journey.
2. Dananeer as Syeda Sidra in Sinf-e-Aahan

She makes us smile and makes Syeda Sidra such a realistic and lovable character. She performs Syeda Sidra’s simplicity, impulsiveness and nervousness so naturally.
3. Maya Ali as Sonia in Jo Bicher Gaye

Maya is slaying the role with her expressions, tone and oh how can we not mention those looks?
4. Usman Zia in Jo Bicher Gaye

Giving us creeps and putting fear in our hearts, dreading what will happen. What a mind blowing performance! To do it with the right expressions, tone and body language is something challenging and must be admired.
5. Kubra Khan as Mashal in HKST

A note-worthy performance by Kubra. It’s actually making us feel for Mashal and making us curious about what really happened. The way her tone became softer right after the thappar, the transition was impressive.
6. Mahira Khan as Mehreen in HKST

Oh Mehreen’s anger when she lost her patience with Mashal, and then the bitter-truth she utters to hurt Mashal, it was all so impact-fully delivered by Mahira, making us feel for her yet, for a minute realise she is not that seedhi.
7. Wahaj Ali as Rumi in Jo Bicher Gaye

Ah Rumi, we felt for you when you looked sadly at Sonia, and then we felt your aura as you gave that speech. A huge round of applause for Wahaj for showing such a wide range of emotions impeccably.
8. Talha Chahour as Captain Farrukh in Jo Bicher Gaye

Talha jee aap chaah gaye hain. You impress us with your superb performance in each scene. We loved how Captain Farrukh made sure he reached in time to wish Sonia a ‘Happy New Year.’
9. Feroze Khan as Mustajab in AMK

CLAP CLAP CLAP… Feroze Khan is completely stepping out of his comfort zone and showing us how multilayered Mustajab is. From the karhai scene to crying in his mother’s arms, he is portraying the instability of Mustajab with perfection.
10. Asad Siddiqui as Dayaan in AMK

He is so relatable as a caring and concerned brother. His performance is natural and believable.
11. Ahsan Khan as Murad in QMK

His portrayal of Murad’s pure evilness is commendable, as it is done without any exaggerated expressions or actions. He has made us totally dislike Murad.
12. Mawra as Meherbano in Qissa Meherbano Ka

What a beautiful, and heart touching performance that made you feel her pain and terror. It was sad yet dignified. Credit goes to Mawra for handling it with sensitivity and finesse, not dramatising it with screams and excessive crying.
13. Azaan Sami Khan as Azlan in Ishq E Laa

What a great performance. We were impressed by how naturally he portrayed Azlaan’s anger, irritation and care for Shanaya. His conversation with Shanaya felt just like it would be between a husband and wife.
14. Sajal Aly as Shanaya in Ishq E Laa

Oh Sajal jee, you keep showing us there is no role you cannot do without winning our hearts. The way you have depicted Shanaya, we are impressed by her courage, we covet with her honesty and simplicity… even though fictional, she had become our voice.
15. Uzma Hassan as Kanwal in Ishq E Laa

Uzma Hassan is ruling our hearts with her realistic, heart touching and so so sad portrayal of Kanwal’s loss. We cried with you…
