Bakhtawar’s journey comes to an end, beautifully wrapping up the stories of all the characters as it calls out society on its dual standards.
Not a predictable final episode
The drama stays true to its core of telling new and different aspects of a story by showing a beautiful Bakhtawar – Dilawer bond and Bakhtawar choosing to stay with Ahad in her life journey ahead.
High Points of The Episode
Dilawer and Bakhtawar reminiscing over the past at the chai cafe was the highlight of the drama and you could see the mutual respect and deep trust & friendship there. All relationships are not meant to be romantic, or all romantic relationships sometimes are not meant to end up in a marriage. Sometimes the respect and dignity of a relationship must be saved by avoiding that path. Bakhtawar just did that and saved itself from becoming a typical and predictable story. The police arresting Nazar sahib for marrying an underage girl was also a much needed & welcome twist.
Out Of Character?
We didn’t expect Dilawer’s mother to actually offer money to Bakhtawar’s mother. She has been a sensible soul so far. That bit was definitely disappointing.
Too Preachy?
The drama did get a little preachy with too many messages in Bakhtawar’s TV interview, but we are not really complaining. Jahan itnay drag scenes and toxicity dektay hain, wahan kuch naseehetein bhi chalain gee…
Messages
The drama ended up with a beautiful message, that you must go back to your roots and work with your own people to bring about change. Begin from the grassroots to create impact.
