What a heart-winning laughter from Hala. She made us all smile with her. Hamza’s saath makes her confident. Shah Jahan has drawn first blood and where it will hit the hardest – Telling Jalees about Shafaq was a smart move, she has sowed the seed of doubt in his mind.
Hala Feels Trapped But Hamza Is There To Make Her Smile!
Hala is alone and has no one to turn to for guidance and support. She cannot tell anyone about Khurram and seek comfort. Her questions about her father’s neglectful behaviour towards her and shikwa towards him resurface in her conversation with dadi about taking care of children even more once they are born. The entire scene & dialogues were very moving and also served as a reality check for many parents. We were gifted a cute moment between Hamza and Hala as he discovers her laughing to herself after a long time.
Sofia Is Still In Khurram’s Spell
Sofia’s reluctance to investigate anything about Khurram seems logical since Shah Jahan has lied and maneuvered things in the past. But now, with Shah Jahan disclosing Shafaq’s presence to Jalees as a way to investigate Khurram, the game has changed and this might make him try & uncover the truth. Does Sameen deserve to be hurt once again?
Hala’s Faith On Allah Wins Our Hearts
Hala’s conversation with Allah about punishing her because of the one lie was thought-provoking… doesn’t Hala deserve another chance? She is cornered, so how do we balance the situation? What is the right thing to do – granting 2nd chances and expecting Allah’s protection against the evil intentions of people like Khurram?

When Will Hala Disclose Khurram’s Reality?
Kiya Hala ko ab Hamza ko bata dena chahiyay? Isn’t Hamza’s trust in her, his continued support and comfort enough to make her believe in him?
We are happy to see Hala’s helplessness and fear gradually turn into anger. We saw some glimpses of that as she was chopping tomatoes in the kitchen. Her defiance towards Khurram, (and confidence about Hamza) was equally heart-warming as she greeted Hamza in the driveway in front of Khurram.
