Congratulations are in order for Bollywood stars, the gorgeous Katrina Kaif and the talented Vicky Kaushal for tying the knot this past Thursday. How exciting!
The two gave us major couple goals and the fresh off the wedding images melted our hearts. They really are picture perfect, aren’t they?
The wedding took place at Jaipur, where friends and family showered all their love and support. Meanwhile, for a few weeks, media and fans have been anticipating the ‘VicKat’ wedding. Seeing throwbacks pictures/videos, day to day updates had kept everyone busy! At last we get to see the bride and groom all smiles during their Mehndi, Haldi functions and the pheras.
How It All Started
While both stars are quite private about their personal lives, but somehow are always in the limelight, kept very lowkey about their relationship. The two first met on camera (YES! That’s right) for an episode for season 2 of TapeCast. There they had an insightful conversation about their personal lives, the industry and their careers. And let’s be clear, we could instantly feel the sparks. Kuch toh tha is pehli mulaqat mein!
The way they looked at each other, listened wholeheartedly and naturally kept the conversation, boy oh boy, we could feel the chemistry building up right through our screens. Did you feel it too?
Oh and Vicky proposed to her on national television too, in an award show. Was something already brewing? Who knows.
Jumping Right Into The VicKat Wedding
With our feeds being flooded with daily updates of the venue, alleged guest list, location, designers, and so much more, we all were wondering ‘Is it really happening or is it just yet another rumour?’ And while we were thinking just that, Katrina finally made her first public appearance at the airport admidst all the buzz. That’s when we all knew the show had already started!
The Day We All Had Been Waiting For
9th December, the much awaited date. The moment I opened Instagram in the evening, my explore feed was flooded with Katrina and Vicky’s wedding pictures which were oh so dreamy! And the smiles the two had were priceless! Yes, I’m a hopeless romantic so I absolutely fell head over heels in love with these images instantly. It isn’t February but love is definitely in the air!
Oh and our girl totally rocked that traditional lehenga by the king of the bridal world, Sabyasachi. Katrina Kaif walked down the aisle with her sisters by her side, under a gorgeous flower umbrella. Seeing her all dolled up and smiling on her big day, made us smile with her too!
From being low-key and rarely being seen together, the couple broke the internet with their wedding pictures. They really went with the ‘keep it private, till you’re official‘ motto and safe to say we love it!

We were also given the insights into the Mehendi and Haldi functions, where the couple and their families could be seen singing, dancing and of course having fun to the max! Hmm, what song do you thing they danced their hearts too? And seems like Katrina has the perfect ‘Bhangra’ steps too!
This picture of VicKat has us all smiling. Dulha mian bohat khush hain, that’s for sure! The way Vicky looks at her, I think that’s every girl’s dream!
Ending On A Grand Note
A wedding reception, ending the festivities on a good note, and walking into a happily ever after. We see Vicky in a traditional sherwani and Kat in a saari, both in pastel pink, looking like something out of a movie! The rustic background adds to the whole aesthetic vibe too.
