We’re back with the weekly best actors. Who’s performance were you most spell bound by?

Aakhir Kab Tak, Pardes and all the prime time dramas have our attention because of their stories, plots and of course, stellar performances from some of our biggest stars. Here are our picks for the actors and actresses that impressed this week!
1. Wahaj Ali as Hamza in Fitoor

Wahaj proves he cannot only win audiences as the soft, romantic hero, he is also great at portraying an obsessed lover with subtle shades of negativity.
2. Hiba Bukhari as Dilnasheen in Fitoor

From feeling neglected by her husband, giving a firm ‘No’ to Hamza, to finally standing up to her husband & saasu ma, Hiba Bukhari gave us a breadth of expressions. Her pent up feelings found expression finally and fans were left applauding her courage to clap back at the hypocrisy we see in society ever too often!
3. Jenaan Hussain as Nageena in Neeli Zinda Hai

From her fine attention to detail in language, body movements, hand gestures to facial expression, Jenaan doesn’t let Nageena slip from her grasp even for a second.
4. Sania Saaed as Mrs. Ehtisham in Dour

The mysterious, lethal, non-forgiving persona in this new drama has caught our attention from the word go. From her over all appearance to the slightest hand & facial gestures, they all add to her character’s enigmatic aura.
5. Shahzad Sheikh as Sahil in Phaans

Sahil’s swiftly changing colors, from revealing his real face to becoming the child who just wants his mother’s love desperately was impressive. The shift in expressions, tone and posture came together onscreen to aptly communicate the puzzle that is Sahil – well done there!
6. Arjumand Raheem as Nadia in Phaans

Nadia’s visibly transformed expressions in the conversation with Sahil are definitely worth mentioning. Arjumand was great as she moved between sympathy, disbelief & then disgust.
7. Sarmad Khoosat as Ahsan in Pardes

Sarmad khoosat as Ahsan in Pardes. His portrayal of a defeated, sad & ailing middle-aged husband & father returning to witness the ugly reality of life back home, touched our heart. His thakkan, his sense of defeat, and his lack of energy reached out across the screen to make us feel for Ahsan & all the sacrifices he had made for his family.
8. Laila Wasti as Saba in Dunk

Laila jee was great as she potrayed the strength of a mother when she reaches her limit. Her love will become a weapon & a source of strong support for her son.
9. Haroon Shahid as Saim in Aakhir Kab Tak

Haroon’s portrayal of a groom shocked, taken aback & somewhat irritated at his bride’s erratic behavior made the scene so much more interesting & worth of watching. In fact, it would be fair to say, we are looking forward to the following episodes because of Saim’s positivity – supportive husband goals are missing much in our dramas so far?
10. Sarah Khan as Zohra in Raqs-e-Bismil

We are loving the new calm, strong & hopeful Zohra. Sarah Khan gave a new dimension to Zohra’s character with subtle body language & on point expressions.
These were our favorite performances of the week. Who do you think stood out the most?
